A Song For Pakistan
August 4, 2010
Pakistanis could do worse than take in some of the lessons from this classic – to not lose hope in dark times, to refuse to give up when the going is tough, and to support each other in what have surely been some of the worst weeks in recent Pakistani history.
You’ll Never Walk Alone
When you walk through a storm
Keep your chin up high
And don’t be afraid of the dark.
At the end of the storm
Is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Tho’ your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone,
You’ll never walk alone.
